Getting Started

  1. Download KrownLink from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
  2. Create an account with your email, or sign in with Apple / Google
  3. Allow location access so we can find stylists near you
  4. Set your language — English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch

Finding a Stylist

  1. Tap the Search tab and browse nearby stylists sorted by distance and rating
  2. Use the AI Concierge (💬) — ask naturally: "Who does box braids near me?" or "I need a silk press this Saturday"
  3. Tap a stylist card to view their full profile — gallery, reviews, services, and availability

Booking an Appointment

  1. On the stylist's profile, tap Book Now
  2. Select a service (e.g. Box Braids, Loc Retwist, Silk Press)
  3. Pick your preferred date and choose an available time slot
  4. Confirm and pay the deposit (if required by the stylist)
  5. Done! You'll receive a confirmation with parking tips and a calendar reminder

Managing Your Bookings

Open the My Appointments tab to see upcoming and past bookings. Tap any booking to view details, message your stylist, cancel, or reschedule.

AI Concierge

Our Smart AI understands natural language about Black hair care. Ask it anything — from style recommendations to finding a specialist near you. Available 24/7 in the chat tab, in all 6 languages.

Smart Waitlist

When a stylist's calendar is full, join their waitlist. Select your preferred service, date range, and time. If another client cancels, you'll get a push notification. First to respond gets the slot.

Hair Profile & Lookbook

Your personal hair journal tracks every visit — service, condition, products, and aftercare notes. Use the AI Lookbook to upload a selfie and preview hairstyles on yourself before booking.

Getting Started as a Stylist

  1. Download KrownLink and sign up as a Stylist
  2. Complete your profile — photo, bio, specialties, address, service radius
  3. Set your business hours for each day of the week
  4. Add your services — Braids, Locs, Natural Hair, Colour, Barbering, Treatments

Your Dashboard

Your home screen shows today's appointments, pending bookings, AI business insights, and quick actions — confirm, reschedule, or cancel with a swipe.

Booking Workflow

  1. Client books → you get notified instantly via push, SMS, WhatsApp, or email
  2. Confirm or decline within 24 hours — the client is notified either way
  3. After the appointment, mark as complete to trigger a review request to the client

Tip: Bookings not confirmed within 24 hours are auto-cancelled to protect clients. Enable push notifications and check your Today screen regularly.

Payments & Deposits

  1. Go to Profile Settings → Connect Stripe (under 5 minutes)
  2. Set deposit amounts per service in your service settings
  3. Deposits from bookings are transferred directly to your bank — you keep 100%

Google Calendar Sync

Connect your Google Calendar to prevent double-bookings. KrownLink syncs every 30 minutes — blocked slots in Google are automatically unavailable, and new KrownLink bookings are added to your calendar.

Smart Waitlist & Auto-Book

When a client cancels, KrownLink checks your waitlist and notifies matching clients. Enable Auto-Book to fill cancelled slots automatically — zero manual work. Manage from More → Waitlist.

Hair Log (Client Records)

After each appointment, record hair condition, products used, colour formula, allergies, and aftercare notes. Private notes stay private — they're never shown to clients. This builds a continuity-of-care record across visits.
